Our Story
DCW was founded in 2023 with the belief that photography is a remarkably versatile and unifying art form with the power to help us grow as individuals.
We thought it would be great to create experiences that keep these things in mind, added with the thrill of traveling to new places and connecting with new people.
About DCW Founder, Guillermo Velasquez
With more than a decade of experience in the advertising industry, Guillermo’s career took him around the world, refining his skills in New York and Paris. He has managed teams, led multimillion-dollar digital ad campaigns, and crafted award-winning creative strategies. Guillermo is now based full-time in Spain, where he completed a Masters of Photography at the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV).

We are based Spain, with workshops covering diverse locations such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, San Sebastian, and others. Regardless of your location within the country, rest assured you’ll be immersed in incredible scenery, vibrant communities, and great cuisine. It’s an ideal destination for both travel and artistic expression.
Our Venues
- Studio Workshops: we’ll be working out of multimedia studios drenched in natural light and with plenty of equipment, so that you feel comfortable and inspired by the stylish surroundings
- On Location Workshops: artistic retreats at hotels and casa rurales in the Spanish coasts and countrysides.
