Q: What language will the sessions be held in?

A: Most workshops are held in English, so please ensure your comfort with the language. However, we can translate and help out people that feel primarily comfortable with Spanish. Weekend workshops will be conducted in English and Spanish, with members on-hand to assist with translation if needed.


Q: Will you provide lessons on how to use a camera?
A: We focus our time on personal artistic development, not technical lessons on camera. You don’t need to be an expert photographer to join a workshops, but you should feel comfortable in operating it independently


Q: What should I bring with me?
A: We will provide you with a list of materials you should bring on your own. This list will be available on the workshop’s site and also sent to you by email once you join.


Q: Whom should I contact if my plans change?

Q: What should I do if I’m running late for a workshop?

A: For studio workshops, there is typically a 10-15 minute grace period before sessions start. For group activities, tours, and on-location workshops, we also allow a 10-15 minute grace period. Start and end times for on-location workshops can often be more flexible. If you require pick-up or transportation for an on-location workshop, please inform your group leader.


Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We take most forms of credit card payments for our on-location and studio workshops. Weekend workshops can be paid with cash or Bizum.

Q: Do you offer a payment plan or does the entire cost need to be paid upfront?

A: Studio and on-location workshops require a 20% deposit to reserve your spot. A second payment of 40% of the workshop fee will be due 2-4 weeks after signing up. The final 40% will be due 2 weeks before the start of the workshop. 

A: We do not offer a payment plan for our weekend workshops.


Q: Does Del Carmen Workshops provide transportation?
A: Generally, we do not provide transportation unless it is explicitly stated. Transportation is typically available only for on-location workshops.


Q: Can I book lodging through Del Carmen Workshops?
A: Yes, you have the option to book lodging through us at an additional cost. We collaborate with local boutique hotels and hostels conveniently situated near our venues, offering competitive rates.


Q: What should I do if I can’t log in?
A: If you encounter login issues, please contact us at cs@delcarmenworkshops.com.


Q: What is the cancellation policy for workshops?
A:

Full Refund: Cancel at least 21 days before the workshop.
50% Refund: Cancel at least 7 days before the workshop.
75% Refund: Cancel at least 48 hours before the workshop.


Q: Will you post the images I create during your workshops on your social media pages?

A: We would love to share work that you create on our social media pages, and we will ask for your permission before we proceed with it. We will also typically take images of workshops in action and use those on our channels, so please let us know if if you don’t feel comfortable being shown.
