Multi-day workshops held in production studios in the vibrant centers of Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia. Led by master instructors specializing in portraiture, editorial, fine art, and street photography, studio workshops offer activities to help enhance our understanding of lighting, concept development, and cultivating our personal artistic gaze.
Weekend Workshops
Especially created for Valencia locals and visitors alike, our weekend workshops are held at Marusela Granell Studio in Ruzafa. We welcome newcomers, amateurs and experts looking to elevate their skills or simply meet with other photography lovers. Sessions are held in English and Spanish.
On Location Workshops
Multi-day retreats that take place in welcoming guesthouses, hotels, and casa rurales across Spain and Portugal’s most picturesque destinations. On Location workshops are all inclusive so that participants can completely immerse themselves in their craft, with help from master instructors that specialize in landscape, nature, and travel photography.
Key Workshop Activities
- Artist talks, demonstrations, and 1:1 instruction
- Hands-on practice: ample time to create new work or images, or workshop existing ideas
- Showcase: each participants presents their images and personal statement of work.
- Dinner & drinks: we typically conclude by celebrating our time together
