Overview

This workshop is for out-of-the-box thinkers, artists, and creative individuals interested in the convergence of image and text. Lucas will lead a full-day session that includes discussions on projects in which text and image work in dialogue with each other, as well as hands-on activities in which text will help us develop our own visual stories, personal statements, and creative explorations.

Instructor

Lucas Momparler
Lucas Momparler is a Valencia native with a background in architecture and creative design. He leads our photowalks & artistic weekend workshops in Valencia. An analog enthusiasts, Lucas’s work focuses on his love of nature, and exploring the connections between humans and the natural world. His work has been exhibited in festivals, galleries, and spaces in Valencia, Barcelona, and Alicante.

Location

This workshop will be held at an artist’s studio space in Ruzafa, offering us an ideal setting for contemplation, inspiration and creativity.

Schedule
  • 10:00a-14:00p: session 1: instructor’s presentation, warm up exercises, practical session.
  • 14:00a-15:30: lunch break .
  • 15:30-17:00p: session 2: individual presentations and instructor feedback.

  • What you should bring
    • Your own camera, laptop, preferred camera accessories, and notebook.

    What we provide
    • Printing, paper, and projection for group presentations
